 A Theatre of the Republic tradition, Holiday on Main Street focuses on Conway's richly textured history from it's founding through the war years to the 1950's by transforming the Main Street Theatre into a winter wonderland, with music and costumes from the early 1900's, children, Santa's, and celebrating Christmas the old fashion way.
From the 1900's to the 1950's, a time when life was simpler and Christmas was a time for wonderful music and decorations, and family fun Holiday on Main Street will bring back those fond memories when the musical groups like the Drifters, Frank, Dino, and Bing , crooned their way into our homes. From a Santa kick line to the parade of the Frosty the Snowmen, this family-filled night of entertainment will bring the joys of the Season to the entire family.
 Wayne Chestnut, theatre historian, researched and wrote the historically accurate account of the past, brought to life through music, story and dance. Grandpa, played by Tom Delany and Grandma, played by Janet Mayers tell the story to their family visiting for the Holidays. Mike and Tishala Martinal play James and Peggy. Perry, their son, is played by Adam Stanaland and Jan their daughter played by Delaney Smith. Playing Characters from the past are Doug Smith, Gretchen Smith, Hannah Smith, Phillip Smith, Conner Sheets, Jennifer Sheets, Richard Brooks, Wayne Chestnut, Emma Lou Johnson, Chris Carr, Phillip Jakey & Jack Jackowicz as the Official Santa.
