The Theatre of the Republic is very excited about our "Take A Seat" campaign! In an effort to improve your theater-going experience, we are going to replace the seats in the theater auditorium.
Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that your gift will be noted on a specific seat or that you will be able to sit in that particular seat when you visit the theater. The logistics would be overwhelming and we would not be able to fairly accommodate all of our wonderful benefactors. Engraved plates will be installed in a "first come, first served" manner starting with seat 1, row A, then seat 2, row A, etc. We will send you a letter identifying on which seat the gift plate will be placed. Here's your chance to help! Starting with the December 4th opening of "Holiday on Main Street (A River Walk)", we will be accepting donations for the new seats. For every $200 you donate toward new seating in the Main Street Theatre, we will have an engraved metal plate installed on one of the new seats as a lasting tribute to you and your family, or as a remembrance of a special occasion or someone you love.
